Thanks for adding the Russian edition. I read the UI strings, page copy, and all 22 news articles against the English source. I'm commenting as a fellow community contributor.
The inline comments cover meaning, grammar, and consistency. Wording and terminology preferences are marked optional; please feel free to push back or suggest a better phrasing. Changes affecting the same paragraph or catalogue entry are combined so the suggestions can be applied together. Repeated terminology and currency changes have suggestions at each occurrence so they can be applied locally. The five typewriter strings form a coordinated set.
Four count-dependent labels need shared-code support rather than a single replacement string. Those comments are follow-up suggestions and need not block this translation PR.
Checked against 1a90c633a32c1a36545821df395f258985945e0f. I also checked the combined proposed result: translation coverage, JSON keys and source hashes, HTML structure and link attributes, embedded commands, and monetary values are preserved. This is a language review; I have not checked a rendered build.
This is part 1 of 2: UI strings and page copy. The news titles and articles are covered in part 2; I split the comments because GitHub timed out when submitting the complete set.

Could we simplify this to с ИИ-агентами? The preposition с requires the instrumental case here; с ИИ-агентов is ungrammatical.

Could we retain the reference to vibe coding? The current copy reduces the source to ordinary customization. The hero also mentions troubleshooting, while the SEO description focuses on changes and wishes; the suggestions preserve that distinction.

The source contrasts one-command setup of a new agent harness with preparing a distribution package. Could we express that directly? Отделён одной командой and упаковочный проект obscure both the action and the comparison.

Hey! I'm working on the Russian locale from the system side (menu table, shell/CLI catalogs: https://github.com/WokoFlipper/Omarchy-ru-locale, menu PR sbelcl/omarchy-language#1, site PR #322). Your #251 is way bigger than mine — I compared our overlapping strings and yours are more precise (mine are shorter). Rather than competing, want to join forces? I can:
One question I hit: upstream |
|
Hi! I've gone through all of @vdmkotai's suggestions — accepting nearly all as-is. Below are the places where I deliberately deviate, with reasons. Proofreading is professional (former proofreader at a large publication). Deliberate deviations:
Style rules I follow:
I'll file the 4 plural-count tickets separately (PR counter, contributors, likes, stars via Intl.PluralRules) — they don't block the translation. |
|
Hi @pluseight8 — decision: I'm closing my site PR #322 in favor of your #251. No point in two competing Russian site PRs; yours is further along (checks green, review in progress) and more precise on overlapping strings. I've done a full proofreader pass over your strings via @vdmkotai's suggestions (professional background: ex-proofreader at a large publication) and accept nearly all of them. A few deliberate deviations on my side (short CTA, "Мы на X.COM", "Двойная загрузка", digits under a million, feed abbreviations vs full words in article headlines) — I posted the full list with rationale here: #251 (comment) — feel free to take or challenge any of it. Happy to keep helping with terminology alignment between the site and the system locale (menu/shell use e.g. Скриншот, Заставка, Обои). My focus now shifts to the system side (menu/shell packs + runtime work with @sbelcl). |
