+# Specter Shield Metal Case (orange pioneer)

+A CNC-machined metal alternative to the printed cases above, designed for the Specter Shield + F469-Discovery combination. Version 1.3.
+
+Unlike the printed cases, all parts are milled from metal and held together with a slider/pusher locking mechanism instead of screws into printed bosses.

+Originally designed by @geometrick-design and professionally manufactured, this case is compatible with the standard Specter Shield board. Version 1.3 in this folder was reworked by @Schnuartz to make it compatible with the M3Y QR scanner module.

+- `BaseCase2_MY3_1_3.step` - main housing body
+- `TopCase_v2.step` - top cover
+- `Pusher.STEP` / `Pusher.PDF` - pusher part with manufacturing drawing
+- `Slider.STEP` / `Slider.PDF` - slider part with manufacturing drawing
+
+The `.step` files can be opened in any CAD program (FreeCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.) and sent to a CNC/machining service. The PDFs contain dimensioned drawings for the Pusher and Slider parts.
