Lucas Mendes

Computer Science student at the University of Brasília (UnB).

Interests

I'm particularly interested in Rust, cryptography, Bitcoin and open-source software.

I've been spending much of my time learning about memory safety, type systems, Bitcoin protocols, and the cryptography behind them.

I also use Linux and Neovim as my daily development environment, and enjoy learning about the software and open-source projects behind the tools I use.

Most of my time right now is spent studying. I occasionally participate in competitive programming and have made a few small contributions to open-source projects. I'd like to become more involved with open source over time as I gain experience.
