This is an original alpha implementation of a seven-phase Wither Storm-style boss. It does not contain code, models, textures, sounds, or other assets copied from Cracker's Wither Storm Mod or Minecraft: Story Mode.
Place the blocks exactly like this, then place the final wither skeleton skull:
[Wither Skull] [Wither Skull] [Wither Skull]
[Soul Sand] [Command Block] [Soul Sand]
[Soul Sand]
The pattern works east–west or north–south. The command block replaces the middle soul sand.

Requirements:
- Java Development Kit 21
- Gradle 9.2.1, or a Gradle wrapper generated from this project
- Internet access the first time Gradle downloads NeoForge dependencies
From the project folder:
gradle buildThe mod JAR will be created under:
build/libs/originalwitherstorm-0.1.0-alpha.jar
You can generate normal wrapper files once Gradle is installed:
gradle wrapper --gradle-version 9.2.1Then future builds can use gradlew.bat build on Windows or ./gradlew build on Linux/macOS.
The included workflow builds the project automatically. Create a GitHub repository, upload the project, and open the Actions tab. The finished JAR is attached to the workflow run as original-wither-storm-jar.
- Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Put the built JAR in the instance's
modsfolder. - Start a test world with backups.
- Ensure command blocks are available to build the summoning structure.
- The seven visual forms use one original Java model rig with phase-specific pieces rather than seven polished Blockbench production models.
- Phase 6 visually represents the three-headed/trinity form but does not split into three independently simulated bosses yet.
- There is no explorable interior or command-block-core dungeon yet.
- Sounds currently use vanilla placeholders.
- Destruction is deliberately capped per tick, but large bosses should still be tested on a copied world first.
- This source package could not be compiled inside the creation environment because external Gradle dependency resolution was unavailable. It should be treated as a development alpha until a successful NeoForge build and in-game test are completed.
