Symbiont Identity Impacts Prokaryotic Microbiome Dynamics During Heat Stress in a Model System for Corals
This GitHub repository contains the code and part of the data to recreate the analyses of:
Glynn, V.M., Lawrence, E.C., Cleves, P.A., Barrett, R.D.H. (2026) Symbiont Identity Impacts Prokaryotic Microbiome Dynamics During Heat Stress in a Model System for Corals. Integrative and Comparative Biology in press.
This repository contains two folders:
-
"16S" : R scripts to generate amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) from our 16S marker-gene data using DADA2 (Callahan et al., 2016), the resulting RDS file from DADA2, and beta diversity analyses of this data, alongside analyses of algal cell density declines as a function of temperature.
-
"Algal density" : Aiptasia algal flow cytometry and protein concentration data over the course of our heat stress assay.
If you have questions about the scripts please contact Dr. Victoria Marie Glynn (victoria.glynn@mail.mcgill.ca).
