Note: this PR is for the python version used in the docs release job. The internal CI job that builds docs uses ubuntu-latest, which currently is at python3.13. We'll find out whether the doc packages are installable / work fine with python 3.14 in May once ubuntu 26.04 releases and becomes 'ubuntu-latest' in docker. I guess it's safe to postpone merging this PR until then. |

Docker image for ubuntu-latest is already at 26.04 by now, which contains python3.14. Docs should build correctly with it as evidenced by CI logs: |
