Summary

This pull request lists our own slack marketplace first in the Claude Code install steps, for developers and coding agents. Updates on the official Claude marketplace are experiencing large delays (it still installs v1.4.1, while ours installs v1.7.0), so we recommend ours until that is resolved.

The README and the docs.slack.dev page still show slack@claude-plugins-official as the second option, with that note, and add a short "Switching from the official Claude marketplace" section: uninstall the official copy, install slack@slack, then check claude plugin list. The agent setup prompt installs and updates slack@slack, and uninstalls the official copy first if claude plugin list shows it.

Testing

On Claude Code 2.1.311, in a throwaway CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR:

• Installing both slack@claude-plugins-official and slack@slack left both enabled (v1.4.1 and v1.7.0), which is why the docs say to install from one marketplace only.
• claude plugin uninstall slack@claude-plugins-official left only slack@slack, and claude plugin list showed its marketplace, version, and status.
• claude plugin marketplace update slack and claude plugin update slack@slack succeed without a GitHub SSH key since fix: update the Claude Code marketplace plugin over HTTPS #209.
• make lint and make test-unit pass. test_install_commands_match_readme now maps claude plugin marketplace add to /plugin marketplace add.

Notes

• Once the official marketplace gets releases on day one again, we can swap the order back.

📚 @mwbrooks LGTM! Leading with slack@slack while the official listing catches up makes sense, and the switching steps read clear.

🧹 quibble: The docs page's "Without auto-update" line might list claude plugin update slack@slack too, like the README does, since I think the marketplace update alone only refreshes the listing.
