Quick Card Delete for Thunderbird

Quick Card Delete adds a native-looking trash icon to Thunderbird's Cards View so you can delete messages directly from the message list.

Installation

The add-on may be available on Thunderbird Add-ons:

⚠️ Thunderbird is not currently reviewing new add-ons with Experiment APIs. Until ESR 153 is released, installation must be done manually via GitHub. Official store publication will resume once reviews reopen.

If you want to install it manually:

1. Download the .xpi file from this repository.
2. Open Thunderbird.
3. Go to Settings -> Add-ons & Themes.
4. Open the Extensions section.
5. Click the gear menu in the top right.
6. Choose Install Add-on From File....
7. Select the downloaded .xpi file.
8. Confirm the installation.
9. Restart Thunderbird if Thunderbird asks for it.

• This add-on was largely vibe-coded and may still contain bugs or edge cases. Reports are very welcome.
• I am also looking for long-term maintainers to help keep the add-on working over time.
