Reviewed as part of #1698-#1705. This PR is mechanically consistent with the other 7 in the batch. No version-specific issues found.

Approved for merge as part of the coordinated 14-PR rollout. No blocking findings; see review comment above. Merge in lockstep with sibling rollout PRs (see redpanda-data/docs-site#173 for the approval / merge order).
