I'm a Bioinformatics MS student at George Washington University (graduating December 2026), working on single-cell RNA-seq analysis in the Rodriguez Lab. My background is in medical laboratory sciences; these days I spend my time on data: cleaning it, modelling it and building pipelines around it.
I'm looking for computational biology, bioinformatics and data science roles.
| Project | What it is |
|---|---|
| Single-cell analysis of aged lung fibrosis | ~100k-cell scRNA-seq pipeline (Scanpy, scVI, CellChat) for my first-author manuscript in preparation and ATS 2027 abstract |
| Predicting heart disease with machine learning | Comparing logistic regression, random forest, SVM, KNN and decision trees with cross-validation. Found that the dataset's target labels are flipped |
| Predicting house prices in Tehran with linear regression | Linear regression on 3,400 apartment listings, with heavy data cleaning and a log-price model |
