Current-main replacement for #1561/#1559/#1552 after the live main queue advanced through #1565.
This keeps the smallest coherent pasteback lineage: production paster confirmation/retry ownership, Paste Again as paste-only, focus-change handling, and clipboard restoration when a retry is superseded. It carries no unrelated Settings history.
