# Try Omarchy Windows continuation - September 29, 2026

The current normal release is [v0.6.1](https://github.com/omacom/try-omarchy-windows/releases/tag/v0.6.1), published and Latest. It adds a setting that sends Alt+Tab to Windows, stops guest services restarting after Modern Standby, keeps a monitor scale set in `monitors.lua` across reloads and refreshes guest packages; see the [v0.6.1 candidate and release record](evidence/V061-SIGNED-CANDIDATE-2026-09-29.md). Its acceptance included a public update from an installed v0.6.0 launcher. [v0.6.0](evidence/V060-SIGNED-CANDIDATE-2026-09-27.md) added drops into apps and 1Password unlock with Windows Hello.
The current normal release is [v0.6.2](https://github.com/omacom/try-omarchy-windows/releases/tag/v0.6.2), published and Latest on September 29. New installs default to your own account. The quick-start account now accepts only SSH keys; existing quick-start guests receive that restriction on their first boot after updating. Accounts you created yourself keep password login. Setup also checks space for the unpacked guest before downloading. See the [changelog](../CHANGELOG.md#v062---2026-09-29) and [publish run](https://github.com/omacom/try-omarchy-windows/actions/runs/36624010076).

[v0.3.0](https://github.com/omacom/try-omarchy-windows/releases/tag/v0.3.0) added live Windows audio device switching to the v0.2.0 features. The [signed and public acceptance record](evidence/V030-SIGNED-CANDIDATE-2026-09-24.md) links the public update check, exact hashes, physical upgrade, audio checks, reboot and rollback results. The user's normal Windows installation was not changed. The Intel/NVIDIA PC remains booted into Omarchy at the owner's request.

## Current decision

The current normal version is
[`v0.6.2`](https://github.com/omacom/try-omarchy-windows/releases/tag/v0.6.2),
published as Latest on September 29. New installs default to your own account,

passed signing and public asset verification. See the
[changelog](../CHANGELOG.md#v062---2026-09-29) for the security fix and setup changes.

The live [Try Omarchy site](https://tryomarchy.com/) uses the same Omarchy
mark as the Windows app and the same green accent. Its download serves the

Latest launcher. On September 24 the live download matched the
published launcher hash and the version text named `v0.3.0`. Its setup and uninstall descriptions
match the app's actual behavior; the site no longer promises that uninstalling
means deleting a single folder or that the next normal release must be 1.0.
Desktop and phone-width Chromium renders were inspected. The live `/download`

On September 29, the live Windows setup steps and shared-account FAQ were
checked against v0.6.2: the account choice comes before the download, your own
account is the default, and quick-start SSH accepts only keys. The separate
tryomarchy.com deployment is live; the upstream

The site's macOS link and the README now point to
