When protonvpn-app is started the taskbar/systray crashes on MATE panel. There is a dialogue that gives you the opportunity of restoring the taskbar, and it comes back. Without the ProtonVPN icon. It looks like this:

This is with mate-panel 1.28.7-2 on Arch Linux x86_64 current. I know Proton officially only support GNOME desktop, so it's maybe not correct to post a bug report here.
But the systray icon was functioning on MATE panel up until proton-vpn-gtk-app 4.14.0-1 (I'm now on 4.15.0-1), it then started crashing, so if there is anything obvious to do on this side to prevent a GTK4 app like this from crashing the systray/taskbar, it would be nice.
