Reverts #2697
This change as-is is actually problematic, and I merged it too thoughtlessly. The implementation behaves surprisingly for anything where
anyis actually used as an indexer, e.g.index<{[any]: string}, any>. I'll implement a more thorough version of this change instead with the principal being that it should only reduce toanyif there isn't some more specific that it can reduce to.
