First second of recording is not picked up when making a voice message

I hit the voice message button then instantly talk on it but the first second is just lost even though it says that it's recording.

It is indeed a very common issue. This happens when the recording does not start immediately upon pressing the button.

yea it has to fetch the permissions and all that but why start the recording beforehand instead of after you've gained the permissions?
