Vaporcast is a retro weather dashboard for Apple TV — a love letter to the 1990s Weather Channel broadcast era, fused with vaporwave aesthetics. It runs in your living room and shows current weather, forecasts, almanac, moon, barometer, and more on rotating panels.

Do I need Apple Music to use Vaporcast? No. Music is optional. Without it, Vaporcast shows weather in silence — or lets your other audio apps (Spotify, AirPlay, etc.) keep playing in the background.
What data does Vaporcast collect? None. Vaporcast stores nothing and sends no analytics. Weather comes from Apple WeatherKit based on your Apple TV's location.
Why is the weather slow to update? Vaporcast refreshes every 15 minutes automatically, plus once whenever the app returns to the foreground. If WeatherKit is having a rough day, it retries with backoff.
