Replace JSON fixture metadata with typed Rust assertions, source directives, and snapshots while retaining the existing validation. Discover source cases with dir-test and normalize fixture keys across platforms and symlinked checkouts. Remove Haskell reference documentation and SEMANTIC_DIFFERENCES.md.
Parse namespaced source comments and quoted text assertions with line-specific errors. Allow large-stack fixture helpers to return results for ordinary Rust assertions.
Replace name-based expectation tables with source directives and ordinary Rust tests for contract semantics and exact string literals. Remove the unused HIR directory-test dependency.
Keep simple layout and rendering expectations in source comments, and express function and deployment relationships as ordinary Rust tests. Remove the central path-to-expectations table.
Read rendering and compilation expectations from source comments. Use ordinary Rust tests for shared inputs and runtime entry deployment, preserving backend rejection checks.
Replace the central rendering expectation table with adjacent snapshots that compare complete Yul output, including escaping and carriage-return regressions.
Move loader, frontend, diagnostic, depth, and simple return expectations into source comments. Preserve complex IR relationships in ordinary Rust tests and discover annotated shared entries without a central registry.

Remove unused path-key generation and its tests, express Anvil address checks as ordinary Rust tests, and drop the unused test-utils directory-test dependency. Document the fixture conventions while retaining the existing editor test format.
