Reproduces the Fig 1(a) test case from Tolman, "Alleviating the Garden Sprinkler Effect in wind wave models", Ocean Modelling 4 (2002) 269-289. A narrow-banded Gaussian swell is placed near the lower-left corner of a 4500x3500 km basin at 100 km resolution, with mean direction 30°, mean frequency 0.1 Hz, and the conventional operational spectral resolution (Δθ = 15°, γ = 1.10). The case is advanced 5 days with pure intrinsic group-velocity transport (no current, no sources) and writes an Hs map plus an animation, so we can visually check whether Ripple exhibits the same disintegration of the swell field into discrete directional beams that motivates the paper.
