The token here may need to be deleted, which is risky and prone to becoming outdated.

While the original PR was wrong for many reasons, a cursory glance on the nature of this software does make it seem like this package wouldn't be allowed based on common objections raised around software that potentially enables copyright infringement.

This is - as far as I can tell - a torrent-based on-demand piracy platform for anime. Similar to popcorn time.

It seems to also have some features for not using it that way, like playing from plex/jellyfin and other web sources as well.

Thanks for the explanation, I'll close this PR for ethical issues regarding the package.

Meanwhile, @qzylinra would you be willing to update pkgs/top-level/aliases.nix to reflect the reasoning above? I believe what @D4ndellion wrote is valid, but I honestly don't understand what you wrote in #435204 (comment)...

You can learn more about the situation at open-ani/animeko#1308. Based on this information, I previously suspected that our package might not be accepted upstream.

I feel like using ethical concerns as a reason seems inappropriate and a bit disrespectful to upstream. I think we can add the software back in when the time is right.
