1️⃣ I/another got blocked for VPN or another module in the plugin, what I can do?

R: There are two sides for this response, User and server Owner.

  • 👤 User: Normally, the user needs to check if he has any type of Proxy or VPN in their background, you need to disable it. The plugin works and his mission is block VPNs and proxies. Otherwise, if theres a false flag, you need to contact to our server in case the module isn't related to Services (external APIs, uncontrollable for us), IPLimiter (the server limits your connection to X amount of connecteds users in one IP) or Bogon (this means, the server is giving private local IPs, should not give); if there isn't the case, you can join to our discord server (of the plugin) for request an unblock ONLY if is false flag (modules, like: ASN, IPRange and ISPFilter). ⚠️ FOR KNOW WHAT MODULE BLOCKED YOU, CHECK THE LAST LINE OF THE KICK MESSAGE.

  • 🍁 Owner: If an user get blocked, it's required to know what causes the issue, you can see the kick message and search what module causes it (at the last line of the kick message) or using the command /fg check <ip/username>. Let me explain what does every module:

    • 1️⃣ Services: A module that checks through services/external-APIs for take a decision, in base of the max_flags in the config.yml configuration file. For improve precision, use trusted services and key-required services, instead of the default services.     • 2️⃣ ISPFilter: A module that checks in a list if this was blocked/whitelisted in the ispfilter.yml configuration file. By default, our plugin downloads from our backend an updated and mantained list of hostings/datacenter, a bit basic but customizable. You can too use this module for whitelist/blacklist hostnames.     • 3️⃣ IPRange: A module where checks known IPs from static lists, contains 3 categories: Proxies, VPN providers (new, a replace from the deprecated *Ranges* section) and Tor lists. The proxies section contains a bit of known lists (you can use more, supports CIDR) with Residential Proxies section (includes in our paid version like an addon, detects residential connections that acts like tunnel or allows P2P for bypass restrictions and being undetectable, in the status shows like *IPRange (Residential Proxy)*) list, this uses the name IPRange (Proxies), after that, exists Tor section, where downloads a in separate way to Proxies and too, the new section: VPNs (or VPN Providers), this gets downloaded from our backend (https://zowi.gay/) and it's catched by us automatically, this detects MysteriumVPN, VPNGate and a bit IPs of LiquidProxy (others AntiVPN can't detect it). This last gets the name of IPRange (VPN). - 🔍 CHECK CONFIGURATION FILE
    • 4️⃣ Bogon: This module works checking if you connection comes from a private or reserved one, like local host, docker IP or another. This feature was made for prevent some exploits or problems, if you get this IP normally, probably your forwarding is totally wrong. - 🔍 CHECK CONFIGURATION FILE
    • 5️⃣ IPLimiter: Done for servers that wants to limit connections per IP in one instance or per time. - 🔍 CHECK CONFIGURATION FILE
    • 6️⃣ GeoLocation (Plus): A module that can block/whitelist specify countries, where you can configure this how you want (preventing joining others countries unrelated to your server, can block bots and possibility for use more types of VPNs), getting blocked for this, in the status shows 'Country'. Inside of this module, too exists ASN blocking/whitelisting, this get download our known list of blocked hostings, datacenters from big to medium size, where exists the addon Extended ASN List, that tries to block more ASNs than the normal (small size hostings); this last gets the type ASN in the status command. This feature improves your detection rate a lot. - 🔍 CHECK CONFIGURATION FILE

If you already known this, you can try to fix by yourself the false flag or use whitelist command if it's required. Too, you can join to our discord support for view a possible fix to do.

2️⃣ The plugin doesn't receive updates periodically, why?

R: The plugin still receives updates, sometimes only in our backend (through https://zowi.gay/) for experimental purposes. The plugin is actively receiving update, but Plus Edition receives faster updates than the Free Edition (the "upstream" for us, is the *Plus Edition*, and this "converts" to the *Free Edition*). In summary, the plugin gets updated sometimes automatically, but isn't published in platforms (you can disable this in our main configuration file, don't recommended).
