Ask-JGI Handbook

All Contributors

Documenting operations and procedures for the Ask-JGI consultation service.

Reading the handbook

The current live version of this book can be found here.

Modifying the handbook

This handbook uses Jupyter Book.

We recommend that you create a new branch for any changes you make, and then open a pull request to merge your changes into the main branch. This allows others to review your changes before they are merged.

If you either make changes through the GitHub interface, or push changes up to GitHub, then GitHub Actions will be used to build and publish the site automatically. H

If you prefer to preview changes locally, then the recommended way is:

  • Install uv
  • From the repo directory run: uvx --from 'jupyter-book<2' jupyter-book build .

Suggestions and issues

If you have suggestions for improvements to the handbook, or find any issues, please raise them as GitHub issues.
