Quite some time ago I've created an issue that could be simple resolved by bumping swagger dependency version.
Any plans updating swagger dependency?

I believe an approach that would have more chance of being spotted/acted upon by the project maintainer would be to raise a PR that bumps the dependency to the required version. Generally the maintainer does not visit these discussions too often.
