Support my open source engineering work
Hi! I'm Kopano, an embedded systems and process control engineer building open-source infrastructure for modern cyber-physical systems.
My work focuses on projects that bridge software and hardware, including:
- FPGA IP cores
- STM32 peripheral drivers
- Renode + Verilator integration
- Hardware-in-the-loop and digital twin tooling
- PCB and hardware verification
- Industrial automation software
- Reusable engineering libraries
Rather than creating one-off projects, my goal is to build reusable engineering components that other developers, researchers, students, and companies can confidently build upon.
Every repository is developed with an emphasis on:
- clean architecture
- thorough documentation
- simulation-first verification
- long-term maintainability
- real industrial applications
Your sponsorship directly helps fund:
- development time
- hardware for testing and validation
- FPGA development boards
- measurement equipment
- documentation
- tutorials
- continuous maintenance of existing projects
If my work has helped you, your team, or your company, consider becoming a sponsor. Every contribution, large or small, helps keep these projects open and actively maintained.
Thank you for supporting open engineering.
Reaching 10 sponsors will help me dedicate consistent time to building and maintaining open-source FPGA IP, STM32 drivers, digital twin tooling, and hardware verification infrastructure. It will also help fund development hardware, testing equipment, and documentation that benefits the entire engineering community.
