Good morning! I am not a virtuose but play all the musical instruments I had a chance to put my fingers or mouth on.
Same with my commits on GitHub. They are everywhere. Sometimes I even use pseudonyms so those can not be seen easily. But the human brain and DVORAK touchtyping fingers are the same.
Sometimes I help with Bitcoin development, the only rules without rulers. Thank you, Satoshi!
I use Linux since 1997. Thank you, Linus, also for git! Big thanks to my teachers darkie, ppaluch, friends of LBW and my former colleagues!
🎯 Milestone Goal: Dedicated Native-Linux Intel MacBook ($800)
To test and run resource-constrained software like bitcoin-faucet-shell with ease, my goal is to procure an Intel-based MacBook configured to run native GNU/Linux (like I already do on another such machine bought first-hand in BestBuy south of San Mateo (CA) in 2012).
Deploying bare-metal Linux natively on this specific x86_64 architecture allows me to:
Zero-Overhead Environment: Run local background network nodes, database scripts, and faucet loop daemons without a hypervisor/virtualization layer consuming valuable system resources.
Hardware-Level Performance: Allow the CPU to run un-throttled by the heavy overhead of modern macOS, giving full execution priority to deep POSIX shell running and testing scripts.
Reliable x86_64 Core Target: Develop and optimize low-level scripts on a pure x86_64 Linux machine, matching the precise environments where major open-source infrastructure is hosted globally.
Contributing to this physical goal keeps the project moving forward on high-utility, dedicated developer hardware. Thank you!
