Combo box style is broken

In staging, I noticed a regression with the combo box buttons.

The should have a blank background and be justified. See how they look in staging:

Switched from critical to medium

I don't see how we can go live with such a regression.

Depending on the length of the selected item, the width size difference can get really big and unfriendly.

Moved back to critical, this is the most visible, important call for action on our home page.
