This argument goes both ways, bots can also be used to file issues, and the fact that you did react already means this strategy is working, otherwise people tend to forget about the issue they open, maybe we can just leave them as stale and not auto close, that is debatable, maybe we can create a poll about it. |

Sad to see bluez overtaken by "let's auto-close legitimate bug reports on timeout without any validation by humans" policy.
What's even the point? To have a smaller number of open issues on some ill-formed quarterly report? Seriously, it demotivates people who spent time discovering and describing bugs in your software.
FWIW I have one open bug report in bluez repo. Not only the problem wasn't fixed; over the years it got worse (namely, shell completions are now bugging out on the command itself, no need for
