So... I was trying to log in on Discord today, but I have a new phone without the Authenticator codes. And of course I didn't download the backup codes cause why would anyone ever do that. 😅 Is there any way to get into my account without these? Guess I have to create a new account, haha. Never felt more like a boomer.

You'd have to talk to Discord, honestly. Without the backup codes, I kind of hope they DON'T help you, but I've had similar issues in the past where the vendor did disable MFA for me (after a bunch of other authentication steps - like proving ownership of the email address, etc). It's worth a shot.

Yeah, same, will give it a shot though. Just to be sure, remove the admin role from my account in case they do do that.

Note: If you do not have access to your backup codes, we are unable to remove 2FA and you will have to create a new account. Discord cannot remove 2FA or issue you new backup codes.

Still, if you're logged in somewhere, you can delete 2FA via that instance.

The annoying thing is it somehow logged me out everywhere and I don't know why. I was logged in on two devices and they both got logged out.
