Compatibility issue: Cinnamon 6.6 + CJS 140

cjs 140 can't be used with the stable cinnamon (6.6.x). It requires changes in unstable 6.7.x release of cinnamon packages
can it be added to prevent users from upgrading to cjs 140 when they are still running cinnamon 6.6.x ?

We could probably just port the commit to 6.6-maintenance? Or is it not fully ready for stable? @mtwebster ?

i don't think the new cjs works with cinnamon 6.6.x as it needs commits from cinnamon master branch
i tried that by upgrading to cjs 140 and removing mozjs128 but i didn't pull the other changes from other project and it ended with blank desktop as usual

Even with that patch applied to 6.6, you'll still need to build cinnamon against the version of cjs you plan to use. It's not just a drop-in replacement package - there's compiled code involved here.

If you make CJS 140 available to your users, make sure to build Cinnamon 6.6.8 against it, and to require it as a dependency.
