The course is divided into five parts. More parts may be added later.
- Course intro, field overview, majority vs minority language technology
- Intro to the Giella infra and a variety of finite-state tasks, stress on reusability and language independence
- Simple lexc (numerals, dates, clocks)
- Writing test material and applying simple concatenative morphology
- Twolc & xfst rewrite rules
First part is in Lecture1/Part1.ipynb, second part in Lecture2/Part1.ipynb and so on. Go to the directory and click Part1.ipynb so the notebook opens.
