Even though i set horizontal-align: 0.5 and vertical-align: 0.5 icons keeps snapping to left. I tried using it in element either.

I searched about similar issues and found #1419 but i don't know if it's same thing.

My other question is there any way to scale images? size property works but for 1:1 images. There is don't have any property about 16:9 or other scale types i guess.

It should normally center the icon:

  cairo_translate(
      draw, lpad + (b->widget.w - iconw * scale - lpad - rpad) * b->xalign,
      tpad + (b->widget.h - iconh * scale - tpad - bpad) * b->yalign);
  cairo_scale(draw, scale, scale);

you might want to do 'element-icon { expand: true;}' so if the underlying widget is bigger the element-icon widget takes up the whole space.

expand: true worked. Do you have any idea about scale? I found #2207 and the conversation was on December 27th so it will be in next release i think, any news about that? And thank you for your answer and your time. I appreciate it.

Not sure if it will be in the new release, there are still some things to be tested on the redraw branch.
Also not sure when there be a new release, not a lot of time at the moment.
