Change font for selected entry

Is it possible to change the font for selected entry? #1768 says multiple fonts are supported, but #1821 seems to suggest a single widget can only have a single font to avoid resizing issues.

My first attempt was:

* {
	font: "Roboto 12";
}

selected {
	font "Roboto Bold 12";
}

I also tried element selected and element-text selected based on https://www.reddit.com/r/qtools/comments/tj4lro/how_to_change_font_style_for_selected_element_in/ as well selected-font etc. in the * section. I have confirmed it is not an issue with the font by setting the default one to bold - they do appear distinct.

Yes, listview elements should have one font . The size of an element is calculated once on startup and this is then used for drawing.
This was done for speed reasons and avoid weird graphical 'oddities'. (suddenly having one row less because it suddenly doesn't fit anymore in the box).

Bold might be something we can do (because normally setting bold does not grow the font to not fit), but it is currently not easily possible.

Thank you for reply, it is understandable. I have switched to border for selection for my colorless theme.
