White/Blank Screen
All the saved settings gone

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Flash newest OTA
2. Reboot
3. See error

Expected behavior
Print Sphere UI to load.

No UI loads

Web config loads, so I can reflash previous version without having to connect to PC

Also on the 1.5 Release (Non Beta). Since installing my battery the device often freezes. Not sure if that was just timing with the firmware or something related.

FYI: I flashed 1.6 Beta1 OTA with no issues. Works as expected so far. Also, with the 1.5 release, I did have one occurence of the Printsphere display freezing and becoming unresponsive during a print, while monitoring the camera view. This freeze required a power to cycle to fix.

I had to power down the device for the white screen to go away and my settings to come back.

After power down and restart it seems to be working

sorry for the late reply.

With the new 1.6 beta, I introduced sound notifications. Because of that, the firmware now needs an updated partition table to store the sound files.

Unfortunately, this kind of partition table change cannot be applied through OTA only. OTA updates can replace the application firmware, but they cannot recreate or resize the flash partitions. So when updating from 1.5.x to 1.6 beta, a full flash is required.

Please flash the full firmware .bin package instead of using OTA. After that, the device will need to go through the initial provisioning/setup again.

I will add a clear warning to the 1.6 release notes that this version cannot be installed over 1.5.x using the OTA method.

Regarding the freezes after installing the battery: I have already included a fix in 1.6 for a freeze issue caused by a bug in the official Espressif component. So please test again after doing a clean full flash of 1.6. If the freezing still happens after that, we can look into it separately.

Flashed as per instructions.

Still have persisting blank/white screen
Settings not loaded. When plugged into a power source and on battery.

After disconnecting from power source and leaving off for a few minutes and enough power cycles the UI loads.

Soooo? Is this functionally dead now?
It's been a month and I haven't used my printsphere because of a white screen.

I guess I'll just find a previous build that isn't broken

having issues rotating my screen so its in the correct orientation for my housing... also features seem limited with my X2D cant see anything regarding filament changes within my ams and camera feed doesnt work
