Codex is like claude code and i am just trying to use codex with bmad, too but i have to admit i'm not sure how it should be handled since the bmad commands don't appear in codex when typing / (after reinstalling bmad). |

Claude Code vs Codex:从「单恋」到「多角关系」我们同时用Claude Code和Codex,踩过一些坑。 我的经验Claude Code优点:
Codex优点:
关键发现我们最大的token消耗不是LLM调用本身,而是context reinjection。用MEMORY.md后,Claude Code的context成本降了40%。 建议如果你是BMAD重度用户,可以考虑:

Apologize for the rookie question. I have been working with Claude Code CLI forever, MAX 20x plan, hit my weekly limits regularly. Opus 4.6 was a phase change for me. Everything was jamming along and I was very happy.
Since I was using Cursor to manage my files, I would open 3 Ubuntu windows and Create/Dev/Review as my workflow. I'm up to Epic 49 if that gives a sense of scale. Not sure itf thats a lot or not haha.
Anyways on really tough tasks or code reviews I would occasionally utilize Codex in the Cursor agents tab. Sometimes I would run Claude and Codex on the same story and then "compare notes". But Claude did the heavy lifitng because of my subscription. Codex was ala carte.
Does Codex have a standalone CLI interface like Claude Code where I could run them side by side on a similar plan? I haven't been very happy with Opus 4.7 and wondering if the grass is greener on other side of the fence. Is this just install Codex in my folder and run it similar to Claude Code?
Feels like more BMAD users are doing it in Claude Code but I have heard great things about Codex. Anyone made the switch?
Thanks for any guidance.
