Hi, I'm new to mining and trying to learn more about Bitaxe and various aspects of bitcoin tech in general.
Apologies if this is a dumb comment, but it appears as though extranonce_2 is seeded from zero each time (main/tasks/create_jobs_task.c). For solo mining, it might be interesting to randomly seed within the valid numeric range for each evaluation, since we won't ever get close to exploring the entire search space.
Please let me know if I'm barking up the wrong tree or whether there's some merit in this post?
