Version dropdown only lists Kubernetes version

The top right dropdown selector only works for Kubernetes: when selecting another set of specs (e.g. Cluster API) it still lists only the Kubernetes version.

Maybe this dropdown should list the other project versions?

Yes, that’s something I want to implement.

Whenever your looking at a CRD, that dropdown should provide a list of versions from that project. It’s just lack of time, as usual 😅

This is tricky with the current layout as project.slug is not available for kubernetes, using Astro.params to find and get the tags / versions for dropdown would be difficult.

An alternative approach / layout using which we can achieve this is: take the default project away and landing page would display all projects as tiles and if user wants to browse kubernetes specs, user can visit https://kubespec.dev/kubernetes.

That way, the following code in Header.astro would change to:

I did that and it's available in the main branch.

But I also moved from pre-render to server side rendering because of the amount of pages, and that broke production as the Vercel function does not include the contents folder.

I need to think how I'll deploy this, I might move it to a container in DigitalOcean or something like that.

Alternatively, I might only include the last 20 releases to and keep it prerendered 🤔

personally, I prefer prerendered CRDs. Since there is no search function that can look / search through CRDs.

I put the pre-rendered version in an nginx container. You can also choose to use github pages to host the site.
