biopass not triggered in gnome except for sudo and logon

I've added biopass the common-auth config file, but for some reason biopass does not come up when installing deb packages with software app (Ubuntu version) or when unlocking the user profile in settings. If I do that, password prompt is shown straight away. I've also cleared the ignored PAM services line in Biopass, but that did not help. What should I change to trigger Biopass every time authentication is needed?
