Codec behaviour on Android is a zoo and every OEM runs a different exhibit. This thread is for mapping it.
If you use ClearCut, reply with your device model, Android version, and whether editing and export both behave. If export misbehaves, say what format and roughly what went wrong. "Samsung A54, Android 15, 1080p exports fine, 4K preview stutters but the export comes out clean" is exactly the level of detail that helps.
Hard crashes should still go to Issues so they get tracked and fixed properly. This thread is for the working-but-weird middle ground, and for confirming what works, which is information I genuinely cannot get any other way.
