PART 3: PHASED IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

Phase 1: Test Infrastructure (Week 1-2)

1.1 Container Infrastructure Setup

  • Create docker-compose.full-test.yml with all services
  • Create Dockerfile.ssh-server for SSH testing
  • Create Dockerfile.ssh-worker for distributed worker tests
  • Create Dockerfile.llm-mock for cloud provider mocking
  • Create SSH key generation scripts
  • Create environment setup scripts
  • Verify all containers work together

1.2 Mock Server Implementation

  • Implement OpenAI-compatible mock server
  • Implement Anthropic mock endpoints
  • Implement Gemini mock endpoints
  • Implement Azure OpenAI mock endpoints
  • Implement AWS Bedrock mock endpoints
  • Add configurable response delays and errors

1.3 Test Configuration Updates

  • Update config/test-config.yaml for container endpoints
  • Create .env.full-test with all required variables
  • Update CI/CD pipeline to use full test infrastructure
  • Add health check verification in test setup

Phase 2: Fix All Skipped Tests (Week 2-4)

2.1 Database Tests

  • Update internal/task/manager_test.go to use containerized PostgreSQL
  • Remove all "requires real database" skip conditions
