It could be nice to see how many people are visiting and what they are looking at. There are a bunch of analytics tools that we could use that once selected are supposedly easy to implement. Although this issue is specific to the Labs subdomain, ideally we use the same tool and account as the BCU main website. I am uncertain if BCU has any analytics, and, if they do, if anyone is actually using them or invested in that specific tool.
Google is a common solution, but is one of the primary drivers of surveillance capitalism and I'd prefer to use a privacy respecting tool if we go forward with this.
I think Transit Matters uses Goat Counter, which to my untrained eye looks like a good product for our needs. @XanDataInDemand found this post suggesting a different tool.
